Tem Certificação Internacional em Storytelling e antes de fazer visitas guiadas foi docente universitária e participou em inúmeros congressos nacionais e internacionais onde levou um pouco do Algarve através das suas comunicações na área da sociologia da cultura e da sociologia rural e urbana.
Fez um levantamento do Património Cultural Imaterial na Serra Algarvia e defendeu a Tese de Mestrado em Ecologia Humana e Problemas Sociais Contemporâneos na Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
É apaixonada pela natureza e pela cultura algarvia, tal como pelas tradições mais genuínas do Algarve, que dá a conhecer com entusiasmo e como uma missão.
